This is Roxy, a beautiful blue-eyed grizzle siberian husky. She has a very pale base colour and quite heavy shading. The photo belongs to Cait.

This stunning german shepherd is named Storney Bax or Kaiser for short, and is black and tan in the saddle pattern. Like almost all german shepherds, he is also masked. The photo belongs to Lis.

This is Catfish. She is a catahoula leopard dog/basenji mix (may have other breeds in her as well). Her colour is sable merle, and you can see a bit of merling on her ears. She also has one partially blue eye. The photo belongs to Sarah.

This sleepy labrador retriever is named CoCo. She is a liver labrador retriever. In this breed, this colour is often called chocolate. The photo belongs to Courtney.

This is Raven. Raven is a german shepherd/australian shepherd cross (maybe with a bit of rottweiler too). The colour is black and tan with a black mask. Interestingly, she also has a blue eye! The photo belongs to Courtney.

This Labrador retriever/German shepherd cross is named Velvet. She is black and tan with a mask. Her markings have pretty heavy black penciling. In some breeds this is called smudged. The photo belongs to Courtney.

This is Sadie. She is a retriever cross, and here she has been cut down for the summer. She is solid black. The white on her chest doesn't need to have be any certain gene at work, it may just be a random happening. When her coat is grown out (see Gallery page 5), it looks must smaller. The photo belongs to Umz.

This is Rosie. Rosie is a border collie cross, but no one knows for certain what else she is crossed with. Perhaps a retriever or terrier - or several breeds! She has a tricky colour, too. She is black with brindle or smudged tan legs, with no other markings except a bit of white on her muzzle and throat. Click here to see a close-up of Rosie's markings. The photo belongs to Jess.

This dog is named Sirius.  He is a cross between german shepherd, labrador retriever and perhaps more. His coat is black, and rather than brown, he has amber eyes. You can't tell here, but he also has a bit of white on his chest and toes. The photo belongs to Leftpaw.

This great dane is named Stuffy. She is a sable, with lighter markings. Unlike most great danes, she is not masked. The photo belongs to Gina B. and Mary D.
