This is Nisse the border terrier. Like most border terriers, he is sable with a mask.

This was Lukas, a golden retriever. Golden retrievers this pale are sometimes seen especially in Scandinavia. Even though he can look white, the cream sheen gives him a way. Genetically spoken, he is simply a very pale red. He unfortunately had to be put to sleep at an early age due to bad hips.

This is Zacha, a jack russell terrier. At first glance, she appears to be solid white, but she has a few tan spots on her ears. Dogs with this type pattern are the ones that tend to be more prone to deafness.

This is Vips, who is a shih tzu/lhasa apso mix. Her colour is a little tricky, but she appears to be silver with a black mask, like many kerry blue terriers. She also has white in the piebald pattern. Although it's not visible here, she has heavy ticking on her feet, and her toes are almost solid-coloured.

This is Carl, an australian cattle dog mix (his owner believes he could be part border collie as well). Carl is the colour that is called "blue mottle" in these dogs. It would be called "blue roan" if he was a gundog. His base colour is black and tan, which is then roaned. Like most roaned dogs, his tail is considerably more white, which you can hint here. The photo belongs to Jessica.

This is Rusty, a red golden retriver. His face has greyed a bit with age, and typical for red dogs, his nose has taken on a fleshy shade in the middle. The photo belongs to Kryptic.

This is Sadie, a retriever cross. On Gallery page
2 you can see her shaved down. This is what her markings look like when
she's fully coated. The photo belongs to Umz.

This puppy is named Tate, and he's four months old in this photo. He is a sable poodle. At this age, light black tipping is still visible in his coat, but it will probably go away as he ages, leaving only his ears black. The photo belongs to Umz.

This gentleman is named Rufus. His exact heritage is unknown. He is
clearly black, but has various shades in his coat! Their cause is anybody's
guess. I imagine some of his coat may have been sunburnt, giving the brown
shades, and perhaps as he is no longer exactly a puppy, some greying is starting
to come in. That doesn't entirely explain the white "beard" of his,
though! The photo belongs to Umz.
